What a day for the Grant Potter Memorial Tournament! A great group of 15 keeners showed up to vie for the prestigious trophy in honour of good friend, Grant Potter. The finals saw a tightly contested match with the score in the final full set tied up at 4-4. With a solid break and hold, Mike S and Neville M took the title by a 6-4 score. Neville was especially happy to finally win the Grant Potter tournament as he and Grant were very good friends. Join us Sunday, August 4, 2019 for the Grant Potter Memorial Doubles Tournament. Grant Potter was born and raised in the local area. He was the Recreation Director for the town and an avid sports person, including many years as a member of the Annapolis Royal Tennis Club. A husband and father and very active in his church, Grant was tragically killed in a motorcycle accident. We celebrate his memory with this fun event. No partner needed as the format mixes players up within a round-robin format. Starts at 1:00 PM sharp to 5:00 PM. Members $2 / Non-Members $5. No registration required.
